Job Description Roles & Responsibilities JOB PURPOSE: To design, develop, and optimize control systems that lead to the efficient and reliable operation of complex industrial processes, and to enhance the performance, safety, and functionality of automated systems by applying expertise in control theory, instrumentation, and automation technologies. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: ● Support the design and development of control systems for industrial processes, to achieve seamless integration with existing infrastructure. ● Implement system and software changes to optimize system performance, stability, and responsiveness. ● Specify and select appropriate instrumentation and automation components to achieve precise control and monitoring of processes. ● Collaborate with procurement teams to facilitate the sourcing and maintenance of software required for control systems, facilitating compliance with industry standards and regulations. ● Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and other control devices to execute the desired control strategies. ● Develop and implement software solutions for Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems to facilitate effective process monitoring and control. ● Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of control system issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions promptly. ● Continuously optimize control algorithms and parameters to enhance system efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall performance. ● Prepare detailed documentation, including specifications, drawings, and operating procedures, to support the implementation and maintenance of control systems. ● Make sure that control system designs and modifications comply with relevant industry standards, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements ● Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, process engineers, and project managers, to achieve project objectives and milestones. ● Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing technical insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes. ● Contribute to a culture of innovation by exploring and implementing new tools and methodologies to enhance control system capabilities. ● Implement robust information backup strategies to safeguard critical control system data. ● Enforce stringent security measures to protect control system assets from potential threats and vulnerabilities Source : https://www.naukrigulf.com/control-system-engineer-plc-jobs-in-dubai-uae-in-emirates-global-aluminium-7-to-10-years-n-cd-87445-jid-260724000096?utm_medium=email&utm_source=jasp&utm_campaign=jaspEmail&mailerId=1722400202&lang=en&filename=260724000096&jobPosition=1
