Roles & Responsibilities

· Handle a team of Technical Superintendents
· Organize, co-ordinate and delegate operations and technical tasks to the department
· Monitor and ensure all managed vessel’s technical activities and analyze monthly Planned Maintenance System
· Introduce, adjust and distribute procedures and work instructions that relates to technical matters.
· Ensure that updated and detailed specifications of managed vessels are available in HO.
· Determine repair specifications for dry-docking, maintenance and surveys together with the most economical method to complete these.
· Ensure proper up to date records are prepared during and on completion of dry-docking and repairs for actual and anticipated expenditure as well as quality of the works and products involved.
· Handling experience of fleet of 60+ vessels, comprising landing crafts, oil tanker, anchor handling tugs, barges, and multi-purpose heavy lift cargo vessel
· Supervise and manage the shipboard maintenance, vessel’s performance, repair programs.
· Ensure that the defects are rectified within the time frame to meet the class, flag and client requirement
