The HR Advisor will support UK based business units with elements of the people strategy including recruitment, engagement, performance, absence, employee relations, organisational design, reward and development. Using a common sense approach whilst maintaining best practice, the HR Advisor will need an excellent grasp of employment legislation and its application within the business. International HR knowledge would be beneficial. To be considered for this position you must have experience of dealing with disciplinary and grievance procedures. Knowledge and application of structure changes including TUPE and revision of terms and conditions is also essential in this busy and challenging role. You will be experienced in coaching management and supporting teams to minimise workplace conflict. Knowledge of reward strategies and training and development would also be beneficial. You will have experience using HR systems with at least intermediate skills in Excel. The ideal candidate will have excellent relationship building skills, work well within a small team and accept that no job is either too big or too small. It is imperative that you are organised and can demonstrate credibility. Delivering an excellent service levels will be your priority and you will be able to coach managers through people management best practice. Resilience, attention to detail and a drive to complete tasks using own initiative are also essential.
