HSE Superintendant Serves as a business partner with operational counterparts in leading HSE excellence within Employer. Develops, plans, organizes, coordinates, monitors and otherwise assures effective implementation of Employer HSE Programs to ensure compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental regulations, company and client policies and procedures. Serves as a resource for the technical interpretation of health, safety and environmental regulatory requirements. Provides ongoing communication to supervision and management concerning the assessment of the HSE program performance and in definition and implementation of recommended actions. Advises managers, supervisors, and workers of potential hazards arising from any current or proposed process or operation; recommends controls to minimize worker exposure to harmful environmental factors and stresses; inspects worksites and prepares report of findings with recommendations for corrective actions; tests working areas for noise, toxic, and other chemical and physical hazards, using industrial hygiene monitoring equipment; specifies the design and quality of personal protective equipment and prescribes standards for their use Maintains knowledge of jurisdictional, company and client HSE requirements and standards; reviews present and proposed work practices to ensure they are in compliance with established standards; investigates accidents to ascertain causes for use in recommending preventive measures and developing HSE program revisions, as necessary Assists in educating workers about practices, precautions, and procedures to control exposure to unhealthful materials; provides/develops HSE training aimed at regulatory and procedural compliance; conducts HSE Management training for supervisory and management personnel Observes workers to determine compliance with respective HSE policies and procedures; assesses effectiveness in implementation of Employer HSE program at project and office sites within in the area of responsibility, and advises appropriate levels of management regarding organizational challenges that may adversely affect HSE performance Serves as a business partner with sales and operations in assuring that appropriate strategies are implemented to drive positive HSE performance Qualification of the consultant: + 5 years’ experience, Place of services: Morocco Duration of contract: 2 to 3 months Number needed : 4
