1. Scope of Responsibilities Responsibility to deliver safe, successful and timely TAR / Projects & shutdown maintenance campaigns. Will process, and be well versed in the required tasks Mentoring of Local National Iraqi staff in routine duties and responsibilities in order to facilitate the re-nationalization of oil and gas production. 2. Strength in the compilation of work-packs for turnarounds and pre-planning. Knowledge of; internal mechanics, electrodes, plenums, refractory and coating variables. The potential for, toxic atmospheres and noxious vapours, hazardous crude accumulates and unstable emulsions typically found in diverse Static Equipment. Working knowledge of Static Equipment process function. Experienced in all aspects of Static Equipment repair and problem resolution. Dealing with challenges of real potential for intermittent supply of materials / spares. Can propose and coordinate management of change approval if alternative fungible spares are the best way forward. Monitoring of progress against the procurement plan & work schedule, and avoidance of mission creep. Flexibility to switch priorities if a procurement or repair eta slips. Communicate (if) any changes are required for amendment of plan(s) Ability to manage concurrent activities safely & effectively. Acute awareness of; and possess the wherewithal to, plan for pending campaigns. Frequent dialogue with Inspection & Process Engineers & peers. Develop culture of best practise of electrical & process isolation, de-pressuring, closed draining, flushing, purging, spading. Witness isolation precautions and record within perimeter, isolation registers and P&IDs for consistency of safe equipment shutdown preparation & aid prompt re-commissioning. Proven track record in ensuring manpower (& vendors) with required expertise, spares, products, consumables, scaffolding, vehicular and bulk nitrogen logistics are at the worksite when required. Manage all aspects of TAR / Project and shutdown campaigns from start to finish including de-mob from worksite. Strictly in accordance with; good oilfield practise, ROO codes, procedures, quality benchmarks and standards. Facilitate audits, inspections and safety observation tours. Ensuring follow up actions are closed out correctly and promptly. Ensure Tool Box Talks are structured, recorded & add value. Compile generic & shutdown specific Checklists. Measure frequency of use. Lead strong safety and communication behaviours by example. Understand Security and Emergency Response rationale and mentor as appropriate. Working knowledge of local Labour Legislation and Laws is required Working basic knowledge of facilities’ Production Operations and Control Systems is required. Ensure reports use and comply with fundamental procedures and protocols of safe systems of work commensurate with shutdown tasks Investigation Team member on HSE incidents. Assist compilation or revision of level plans and ensure prompt completion of works therein. Provide technical and logistic input into; and manage progress of, opportunity shutdown modification work packs Management of spares, materials and resource availability. Appreciating it will require substantial pre task planning and prioritisation and follow up Resolve queries or conflict on best practice. Provide detailed feedback into clients’ Materials Maintenance Management System to allow shutdown maintenance to be switched to a planned, preventative and predictive structure within one year. Manage staff performance monitoring and mentoring Detailed daily reporting and compile / receive handovers pre / post field breaks Input into root cause analysis studies as required. Strive for continuous improvement in all activities Responsible for the promotion and implementation of Petrofac / JV and client’s HSE policies. 3.
