Part A: Job Specification Job Purpose · Leads the monitoring and oversight of the Early Site Works (ESW) Contractor’s field planning, coordination and execution activities within all offsite areas. · Appraises the performance of the ESW Contractor in terms of safety, quality, cost and schedule. · Supervises the assigned NFE Onshore Project’s Construction personnel. · Vets and checks field change proposals by ESW Contractor to manage the NFE Onshore Project’s management of change process. · Prepares and provides routine verbal and written progress reports to the NFE Onshore Project Head of ESW Construction. · Ensures that the ESW Contractor develops implements and sustains its Safety and Quality program within the site. Key Job Accountabilities 1. Job Purpose: · Provides safety leadership by example to the NFE Onshore Project ESW Team and the ESW Contractor, its sub-contractors and site vendors o As delegated by the Onshore Construction Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the implementation of the NFE Onshore Project Site Safety program including the SHES Activity Schedule o Responsible for ensuring the ESW Contractor implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilities for SHES project deliverables · NFE Onshore Project ESW Team Construction representative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of the ESW Contractor and its subcontractor(s) in his area of responsibility (off sites). · Reports on the construction activities, progress, areas of concern and mitigating actions. Leads appropriate weekly construction discipline review meetings. · Prepares for and participates in weekly construction review meetings. · Responsible for implementation of execution activities and ensures development, review and approval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safe and effective execution. This includes authorization of RLIC permits. · Provides accurate, timely and routine reports to the Head ESW Construction on project planning and execution activities · Reviews and approves the ESW Contractor’s construction sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning and method statements to ensure comprehensive safety and feasibility in his area of responsibility. · Leads incident investigations with support from the Head ESW SHES · Ensures ESW Contractor’s construction activities is completed in accordance with NFE Onshore Project procedures, regulations, specifications, standards, and permit to work procedures as applicable, including relevant RLIC procedures. · Participates in review of subcontracts and ensures that adequate control and changes in work procedures are established. · Reviews and approves construction field changes and extra work requests as delegated by the Head ESW Construction. · Supervises and manages NFE Onshore Project ESW Team direct report project personnel if applicable. · Assists NFE Onshore Project Head ESW Construction in executing his responsibilities and acts in his behalf during his absence. · Demonstrates ability to plan and schedule work (short term and long term) and ensures execution of work plan by sub-ordinates. · Monitors and ensures the correction of non-conformance report items and other issues supporting QA/QC compliance. · Monitors site material handling, soil movement, soil disposal and warehousing procedures with respect to his area to facilitate construction progress. 2.
