Job Title: Drilling Operations Integrity Systems Specialist Job Type: Contract / 12 Months Start Work Date: Immediate Duties and Responsibilities: Provide professional guidance and develop safety processes to D&C HQ and rig leadership teams to assist in achieving our "Injury & Illness Free" vision Support drilling operations in safety, health and emergency preparedness through development and execution of D&C systems Develop SIMOPS interface and bridging document with drilling and production operations Support D&C emergency response plan, to include periodic ER exercises Participate in the development of safety case process for D&C Use core competency and expertise to help D&C HQ and rig leadership teams to develop safety strategies to support successful execution of operations Effectively communicate and coordinate D&C system guidelines around SHE expectations, best practices, recognition, lessons learned, and incentive programs Serve as D&C systems coordinator for HO and rig operations by supporting D&C HQ and rig operations systems assessment and review Provide technical leadership, subject matter expertise and tactical support covering some or all of the following activities within the D&C systems Tool development, deployment & maintenance; e.g., Contractor Safety, Best Practices, Manuals & Guides, Assessments, LSRs, etc. Special projects and initiatives Data analysis - collect, analyze, and report data on leading and lagging indicators on safety performance and or safety initiatives, making recommendations on improvement opportunities and new safety initiatives. Training development Supporting collaboration across QG D&C operations, as well as QG HSE, to enhance D&C systems and processes Qualification & Experience: Minimum of 15 years in safety-related positions in safety, with oil & gas safety-related experience in drilling operations Thorough knowledge of safety management systems, processes and safety standards, codes and practices Ability and desire to function and develop successful working relationships with emphasis on effective communications in an integrated team environment Effective communicator / influencer that can scale messages across multiple levels, from senior manager to worker Proven organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment, including working in team with diverse cultures Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Strong analytical skills and strong proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
