Sulfur Engineering Division Manager Job Specification Job Purpose Lead, manage and direct FEED or EPC Engineering activities required to deliver a safe, reliable and cost efficient Sulfur Handling facility for the NFE project. Key Job Accountabilities Lead the Sulfur PMT engineering team to guide the FEED or EPC contractor to develop and complete quality engineering deliverables to achieve project milestones and objectives . Resource high calibre engineering resources internal, as well as external, engineering resources to deliver and meet project goals and targets. Assess team performance regularly and mitigate as necessary. Manage training, development and succession planning for all assigned employees in line with company staff retention and nationalization policies. Maintain familiarity with relevant equipment specifications, international standards and state- of-the-art technology and equipment advising on potential applications of improved technology and equipment, which will benefit project. Prepare and release a variety of regular and ad-hoc reports to Management and stakeholders as well as correspondence/memorandum to coordinate work activities. Also ensures the proper maintenance and control of department records and files. Coordinates the definition and finalization of technical documents to support interface and crossing agreements with other NFE Onshore EPC Contracts and third parties Monitor performance of FEED or EPC contractor, consultants, PMT and service providers supervised and develops KPIs to assist in developing and executing mitigations when plans are not being achieved. Understand interdisciplinary dependencies to be able to make judgements on overall technical decisions having multi-discipline impacts. Coordinate multi-discipline technical reviews such as P&IDs, 3D Model, HAZOP, SIL, System Completions and Operations. Clear understanding of change management process and leads team to document and justify and manage risks associated with design change. Lead effort to develop engineering execution plans to support procurement, construction and commissioning to ensure plans are clearly understood by the CONTRACTOR and PMT and are jointly working as a team to drive to key milestones to support execution sequence. Develop engineering surveillance plan, including key areas for SME support to ensure NFE design meets the project objectives. Develop technology management plan to ensure appropriate stewardship to deliver new technologies that will meet project objectives and smoothly transition to the OPCO. Minimum Requirements Qualifications Bachelors’ Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 20 years broad experience in all project phases i.e. engineering, procurement, and construction, with at least ten (10) years specific involvement in a major projects with design engineering and execution experience, including field engineering. Previous sulfur solids or other bulk material handling terminal experience desired. Marine export terminal experience also preferred. Demonstrated project engineering/reporting skills Experience with Contractors, vendors and sub-vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of onshore facilities. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-discipline activities and make sound judgements to complete engineering activities Able to quickly assimilate, understand, interpret the details of the Project Commercial and Technical requirements Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds
