Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Ø Should have knowledge of all relevant standards and guidelines i.e. TRANSCO, OETC, ADDC, SEC and KSA standards including the Grid Codes, IEC, IEEE, International guidelines etc. Ø Capable to conduct site survey and preparation of design documents (concept design) which includes route drawings. Ø Prepare requisitions and technical evaluation of bids for discipline material and equipment procurement Ø Identifying, evaluating, and resolving Electrical Engineering issues during the EPC phase. Ø Review and approve within the specified approval durations, the EPC Contractor key deliverables and other works within the OHL discipline, ensuring compliance with OHL design requirements Ø Carry out calculations & studies required to finalize OHL equipment specifications and review of calculations, specifications, plans, investigations, surveys, structures, system or equipment with relatively few complex features. Ø Carry out Tower Spotting by using PLS CADD and its review. Ø Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors and prepare comments and recommendations incorporating any comments received from the Owner. Ø Supervise and manage the review and approval of EPC Contractor s work, ensuring compliance with Owner and Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practices. Ø Coordinate other discipline Engineers, participation in layout reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops. Ø Review and approve of FAT Reports, SAT Procedures, Method Statements etc. Ø Capable to attend Equipment FAT virtually. Ø Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline Engineers.
