Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of electrical systems in construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting electrical installations, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet safety standards, codes, and regulations. The Electrical Inspector will conduct on-site inspections, tests, and evaluations of electrical work to identify any issues or defects that need to be corrected. Additionally, the Electrical Inspector will review technical specifications, drawings, and plans to verify compliance with electrical codes and project requirements. Strong communication and reporting skills are essential as the Electrical Inspector will be required to document inspection findings and communicate them to project stakeholders. The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of electrical principles and a keen eye for detail. A relevant certification or license in electrical inspection is preferred. Responsibilities • Conducting inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations. • Evaluating and approving electrical installation plans and specifications. • Performing quality control checks on electrical components and systems. • Identifying and documenting electrical safety hazards and recommending corrective actions. • Investigating and documenting electrical failures and providing recommendations for resolution. • Advising on best practices for electrical system maintenance and repair. • Keeping detailed records of inspections and compliance findings. • Collaborating with other inspectors and technicians to resolve complex electrical issues. • Providing guidance and support to contractors and stakeholders regarding electrical standards and requirements. • Staying up-to-date with changes in electrical codes and regulations. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. • Certified as an Electrical Inspector. • Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations. • Prior experience in electrical inspection or related field. • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
