(454) Marine Coordinator

Conducting condition suitability surveys for the hired marine vessels to ensure compliance with international marine regulations, flag state rules and client requirements. Review and approve Competency Certificates of marine key personnel onboard hired vessels to ensure compliance with marine regulations (STCW 1995) and capability of performing the works efficiently and in a safe manner. Review the Marine Class certificates of hired vessels to ensure compliance with IMO regulations (SOLAS; MARPOL etc.,) and flag state rules. Checking the marine management systems of marine Subcontractors to ensure implementing the necessary procedures/policies for safe operations and environmental protection. Handling of all marine issues related to hired marine spreads during the charter period with regards to vessels operations, crew change etc., Ensure that Cargo Barges are equipped and prepared for safe towing operations prior to the tow-out. Assist and Support DPA (Designate Persons Ashore) in implementing the ISM Code for HLS-2000 which required conducting internal Office and Ship Audits as per our Marine Safety Management System (MSMS) pertaining to the ISM Code. Initiate the corrective action plan and follow up with regards to the Non-conformities raised by Auditor during the external ABS Office and Ship Audits. Allocating the Cost Code of the hired spread against its actual utilization of each Project on daily basis. In-charge for the movements of NPCC harbor tug and controlling the jetty movements at NPCC Wharves with NPCC harbor tug master. Desired Candidate Profile • B.Sc Marine Studies • Minimum 5 Years’ experience in relevant fields. • Computer skills • Supervisory skills
