(523) MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR (L&CD)
Basic Function: • Plan, lead and manage all activities related to leadership and talent development to ensure efficient and effective implementation. • Provide internal consultancy to managers, team leaders and employees on all aspects of leadership and talent development including the implementation of technical-specific learning solutions, knowledge transfer and performance management. • Recommend strategies for career advancement. • Collaborate with company leadership in developing in-house talent, integrating and implementing efficient leadership development programs that will improve productivity, maximize employee and organizational effectiveness and ensure consistency and alignment with company’s goals and objectives. • Keep abreast of ADNOC Group, local, regional, industry shareholder and international best practices in the area of leadership and talent development. • Recommend and introduce best practice L&TD initiatives such as coaching, mentoring, 360 degrees feedback, e-learning and executive development. • Keep abreast with the market of suppliers of products and services to ensure the best result when outsourcing to external suppliers. • Use best-in-class core talent development processes for needs assessment, design, development, communications, delivery, metrics, reporting, and solution support. • Create a L&CD curriculum by developing a holistic approach towards manpower development which integrates talent management, professional ladder, leadership and executive development in order to attract, develop and retain people with the aptitude and abilities to meet current and future organizational needs. • Design and develop in-house training requirements related to leadership and talent development by collaborating with internal subject matter experts and partnering with outsourced training providers. • Develop innovative, quick and efficient ways to measure learning effectiveness. • Develop and enhance existing business and behavioral competency frameworks to facilitate the development of all staff and business leaders at various levels. • Maintain alignment of existing CAMS and professional ladder frameworks with ADNOC group leadership, talent development initiatives and company manpower development processes. • Develop leadership interventions at all levels including executive development progress. • Design, develop and implement programs such as talent management program for established and emerging high-potential leaders. • Provide direction for manpower development advisers to ensure continuous improvement, innovation and quality control for these programs. • Identify new opportunities for the development of UAE nationals through external work assignments linked to personal development plans. • Facilitate and follow up long term assignments to external organizations e.g. international shareholders (ISH). • Develop service level agreements (SLAs) with internal customers and external/third parties. • Ensure on continuous basis that all leadership and talent development initiatives are aligned with company business objectives, other human capital processes and with similar initiatives within other ADNOC group companies. • Guides, directs, coaches, trains and motivates team members (including developees) to work to their best potential and work effectively as a team. • Works in line with HSE policy and ensures awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by team members. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum Requirements: • University Degree in Engineering/Business Studies or Equivalent. • 12 years + related experience covering all aspects of manpower, preferably in oil and gas industry within a technical environment. • People management, communication, leadership and presentation skills. • Very good written and spoken English language. • Age and gender: up to 50 years
