(589) HVAC Supervisor
• Plan and supervise the regular maintenance programs for all HVAC installations at PI facilities, and ensure that they are adequately maintained as per PI policies and procedures. • Supervise contracted maintenance staff to ensure the effective implementation for fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance and servicing of HVAC systems and equipment. • Monitor the work done by external contractors to ensure adherence to PI’s standards and HSE requirements. • Develop and perform corrective and general maintenance procedures for PI’s HVAC system, components and equipment such as cleaning, power-washing and vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, and changing filters. • Oversee maintenance activities performed by PI’s maintenance technicians. • Supervise and follow-up on day to day maintenance activities based on helpdesk requests. • Conduct regular inspections of PI’s HVAC systems, equipment and components to identify hazards and defects, and conduct the necessary repairs in compliance with international codes and environmental regulations. • Test HVAC equipment using the appropriate tools to ensure that they function properly, and take corrective actions when required. • Repair and replace HVAC parts and components when required. • Ensure the development and maintenance of detailed records regarding HVAC maintenance activities. • Ensure that HVAC maintenance operations are being carried out in a safe and efficient manner with no disruptions to PI’s activities. • Supervise and control inventory of spare parts for the different HVAC installations at PI, and ensure their availability at all times. • Coordinate with the Supply Chain Department for the provision of HVAC equipment and components. • Coordinate waste disposal activities and procedures, and ensure that they are being performed in a safe and environmental friendly way. • Prepare technical specifications, scope of work and bills of quantities for electrical facilities projects. • Participate in technical evaluation of bids, and prepare submissions to the Tenders Board and Management.
