Job Reference IRC122486 Job Description Brief Posting Description We are currently recruiting for Maintenance Superintendent to work on a 10 week on and 3 week off rotational basis located in Equatorial Guinea, Central Africa. The Maintenance Superintendent is an integral part of the maintenance team and is responsible for the overall performance of the maintenance craft group by ensuring that repairs made to facility equipment are carried out to the highest possible standards. Detailed Description Works with Maintenance supervisory team to develop and implement long-range team goals and to build good working relationships with the other departments. Provides technical oversight and supervision of repairs that are executed by the Maintenance resources and ensures that proper repair procedures are followed and that all documentation is completed and filed appropriately. Ensures daily maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations and are compliant with the sites Mechanical Integrity Program. Communicates and provides information on schedules and daily work activities to the various departments to help in the development of production forecasts. Understands the impact of daily decisions and directions that affect MOC budgets. Responsible for the review, development and improvement of maintenance procedures and ensuring the Maintenance workforce has an understanding of the procedures. Responsible for identifying training needs of Technicians and National Development Technicians and is responsible for the coordination of these training activities. Ensures MOC Process is being followed for repairs and replacement of equipment. Sets priorities for Maintenance Engineers related to Maintenance projects and troubleshooting. Coaches group members and drives continuous improvement into the organization. Follows and enforces all policies and procedures. Audits safety rules and procedures to ensure they are being followed. Champion the Clients Safety program at all levels and focuses and embraces the concept of a zero incident workplace. Ensures the daily and weekly maintenance schedules and plans are being developed appropriately and are communicated throughout the organizations. Ensure parts are being staged ahead of time for the upcoming work. Ensures that the Maintenance groups backlog is up to date and current. Has financial authority for approving and closing work. Responsible for all aspects of a maintenance Technicians performance, including recognizing and reinforcing good performance and confronting and correcting poor performance. Holds maintenance employees accountable for achieving performance standards and following policies and procedures established for the Maintenance Department. Consistently provides rewards and discipline to reinforce expectations. Strives to motivate employees and delegates authority and responsibility for routine maintenance activities to technicians.
