ABOUT CLIENT : Professionals having minimum 5 years experience in loss prevention job in the oil & gas industry, are encouraged to apply for a job opening at one of the eminent oil & gas major in Middle East, where the incumbent will acts as the technical authority on all aspects of safety, lifesaving & fire prevention/ protection equipment. JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE: 1. Develops & maintains updated the company’s standardized procurement procedure for safety, lifesaving & fire prevention / protection equipment including PPE. 2. Develops the company’s standard specifications for safety, lifesaving & fire prevention / protection equipment, and keep abreast with latest developments / amendments in the codes / standards / statutory requirements to ensure they remain aligned & upto date. 3. Inspects, audits, monitors & advises on all matters related to companies & contractors’ safety, lifesaving & fire prevention / protection equipment. 4. Prepares blanket contracts for all sites that cover the servicing & maintenance of safety, lifesaving & fire prevention / protection equipment. 5. Reviews & updates requirements for contractor safety, lifesaving & fire prevention / protection equipment & assist in conducting inspections of equipment related to both operations & projects to ensure compliance prior to mobilization to sites. Desired Candidate Profile QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: B.Sc. in disciplined engineering, professional qualification or equivalent. Safety related degree / diploma (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent.) 5-7 year experience in loss prevention job in the oil & gas industry.
