Eni has a vacant position for Installation HSE Advisor in Angola. It will be residential role, based in Luanda. This is a fixed-term contract, 12-24 months. About the project Eni%u2019s presence in Angola dates back to 1980 when the country opened up hydrocarbons exploration to foreign oil companies. In that year, the state oil company, Sonangol, divided up the Angolan offshore, with the exception of the Cabinda area, in 13 Blocks and submitted them to an international competition. This led to the arrival in Angola of all the major international oil companies. Eni was awarded Block 1 and Block 3, along with other foreign companies. In 1987, Eni was invited by the government to enter the Cabinda area, in a joint venture that was once led by Chevron. Exploration and development activities are concentrated in conventional and deep offshore areas covering a total, developed and undeveloped, of 21,489 km?, including 4,442 net to Eni. In 2013, Eni%u2019s share of hydrocarbon production in Angola amounted to 87,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/day). You will be supporting installation WP manager and HSE coordinator in ensuring that all activities and equipment are in accordance with HSE regulations, policies, standards and best practices, thereby assuring the safety of all personnel, company assets and the environment. As a Installation HSE Advisor your skills and qualificationswill ideally include: A solid experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in both onshore and/or offshore facilities and power generation sector A number of years of experience in HSE management of oil/gas field development projects and power generation sector Knowledge of system management development & implementation, audit & certification activities. Experience with guidelines & procedures definitions, law compliance analysis & assessment, due diligence & permitting, risk assessment, hazop & hazid, technical specs & standards definitions, information & training, hse data management, modelling & reporting, corporate social respons. (csr) & business sustainable dev., emergency planning, design / process review, contractors specs, qualification & auditing, customer satisfaction As a Installation HSE Advisor your main responsibilitieswill involve: Assisting WP Manager and site personnel for HSEQ issues Identification and assessment of HSE risks and related countermeasures Identifying standards and procedures according to best practices, company guidelines, local and international regulations applicable to installation activities Ensuring the application of relevant laws and regulations, HSEQ local norms and company standards. Identifying and adopting correct HSEQ standards according to company standards and local norms and legislation. Ensuring that the highest HSEQ standards are maintained throughout the site activities
