1) Ensure implementation of the Ministry of Health regulations, the Company MedicalStaff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and the Paediatric Department Policy and Guidelines. 2) Diagnosis and treatment of patients referred to pediatric department. 3) Run his/her own clinic. 4) Help in professional development of all staff. 5) Ensure safety of patients and staff. 6) Provide teaching materials as part of the professional development of the staff. 7) Set up a coordinated management system for the department. 8) Lead the resuscitation process during CODE BLUE pediatric cases while on call. 9) Set up with cooperation from the Head Nurse, a triage system that suits the local community without jeopardizing the private nature of the service. 10) Responsible for directing, planning, managing, and coordinating operations for the patient care activities. 11) Responsible for maintaining a working environment that promotes high standards for patient care, customer service, and ethical behavior. 12) Participates regularly with other pediatric staff, in decision-making related to patient care. 13) Provides leadership for organizational performance improvement activities. 14) Plans for the provision of orientation, in service and continuing education programs, along with other physicians of the department. 15) Participates in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs. 16) Attends regularly scheduled meeting for the improvement of patient care services and delivery. 17) Maintains strictest confidentiality. 18) Accepts all other additional assignments found necessary by the Medical Director. Desired Candidate Profile 1. Bachelors Degree 2. Masters Degree 3. PhD 4. Atleast 7 years post Fellowship/Membership experience in relevant specialty. 5. Valid Licence and registration
