Education: Bachelor(Accounting ,Computer science ,Business information systems,Finance ,Information systems - business ) 1. BASIC FUNCTION Participates in the overall study, design, implementation and monitoring of new and customization of existing financial systems and all related activities in coordination with the users and developers to maximize systems operational efficiency. Develops Finance Directorate microcomputer application systems and provides support to all systems users across COMPANY Group Companies 2. WORK PERFORMED 2.1 Conducts review and study of the existing or proposed financial system to define all requirements and provide appropriate recommendations for review and approval. 2.2 Initiates development and customization of the systems in coordination with the users, developer and software consultants to provide full functionality and well defined system structure. 2.3 Organises users who are conversant with the system to test the new financial system for systems functionality, user friendliness, security and performance in order to assure the quality of the new system and establish completeness and adequacy in relation to systems requirements. 2.4 Consults with all systems users to obtain feedback, analyses the results, consolidates all comments and documents further improvement of the systems and acts as liaison between the users and developer in resolving conflicting requirements. 2.5 Participates in providing training, orientation, consultancy and continuous usage support to systems users for proper use and maximization of resources. 2.6 Develops and participates in the preparation of systems documentation for all systems related requirements, specifications and user manuals that assists for existing and future developers and system users. 2.7 Conducts continuous monitoring of implemented systems and initiates fine-tuning if necessary to further improve and make it adaptable to new or revised set-up. 2.8 Prepares yearly IT budget and follows up IS&T Division to fulfill the requirements. 2.9 Carries out other special assignments as directed by superiors such as, research and study of financial systems related matters and reports, PC software and hardware maintenance. 2.10 Keeps abreast with latest developments and trends on software packages and new system developments in order to inform and recommend adoption of appropriate updates. 2.11 Develops/Customizes applications and reports as per the business requirements. 2.12 Performs installation and configuration of Information Systems to the users. 2.13 Manages the application security for the users. 2.14 Follows all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Desired Candidate Profile 3. WORK CONTACTS 3.1 Daily contacts with immediate associates and other Finance Directorate staff up to Department Head level to exchange related information and discuss proposed recommendations, procedures in systems design and implementation and to report on continuous work progress. 3.2 Regular contacts with developers in IS&T and other system users to discuss systems requirements, specifications, implementation and feedback on operational inefficiency. 3.3 Occasional contacts with other Directorates as well as Group Companies to discuss system requirement, specification, implementation and operation of the system. 4. INDEPENDENCE OF OPERATION 4.1 Reports to Head, Financial Systems Department. 4.2 Determines work from several existing alternatives methods according to established policies and professional computerized standards and techniques. 4.3 Completed work is subject to review by supervisor.
