PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Carries out the maintenance and design of new / modified Distributed Control Systems (DCS), including analysing users requirements, preparing DCS logic and specifications and supervising testing and debugging. Monitors DCS system performance and recommends improvements thereof. Provides support to various plant automation systems such as Advanced process control, Real time database (PI) and plant automation system and network. Participates in the commissioning and acceptance testing of newly installed DCS and process computer systems. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum Job Requirements: B.Sc. in Chemical or Electronics engineering. 5 years experience in computer systems design and implementation in an oil / gas or petrochemical industry.
