The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing engineering and design to achieve the project objectives. The jobholder interfaces with the projects, engineering, controls, procurement, construction, and QA/QC department managers, engineers, supervisors and external stakeholders including clients. Successful candidate will have to understand contractual requirements and communicate them to the engineering team and assumes responsibility for the execution of all engineering tasks including motivating the team to work as an integral unit. He will be the focal point for technical/coordination issues between CCEL, Supplier, Fabrication, Construction and Client; preparing the engineering execution plan, establish work plans for the engineering team, arranging and leading engineering design and safety review meetings and addressing engineering personnel performance issues in conjunction with engineering section heads. He will support the project engineering manager in reviewing and approving project forecasts, schedules, cost estimates, and major expenditures. Supports the project engineering manager in obtaining the client’s acceptance of the plant and coordinate completion of final project documents.
