Follow up to prepare conductor string design as per well program , authorizes the issues of necessary material and timely mobilization to contracted workshops for fabrications. Authorizes and coordinates the arrangement of safe transportation of same to and from company base. Supervises conductor fabrication, inspection, blasting and application of special coating as per separate requirement, and timely shipment to appropriate rigs. Ensure that all inspection /maintenenace/repair/fabrication and modification works are carried out on companys and rental/contracted drilling tools/ equipment moving to and returned from rigs are carried out to the latest established drilling standard/ specifications and are all certified for use in drilling and work over operations. Ensures that all well heads and completion materials recovered from worked over wells are properly segregated, checked, inspected to determine which ones can be serviced, repaied and put back for use again. Make decisions and advices equipment group accordingly. Approves for write off irreparable items and arranges for their handover to logistic division for safe disposal. Endorses the safe keeping of recovered expensive materials such as : CRA High alloy, 13% Cr, T-95 or L-80 and some usable Well-heads , Valves, Drilling Rock/ Diamond bits and X-mass tree etc for spares and other near future needs. Guides, direct and supervises subordinates to ensure they work to their best potential and contriubuteeffectively as a team. Works in the line with HSE policy and ensures awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates. Guides and follow up the training of trainees and reports their progress to company training department and line manager. Performs other r elated duties such as scrutinizing, checking and correcting suppliers/ contractors invioices and initating approval of the same , following up of drilling tools and services section allocated contracts such a s tubular inspection services, conductor welding services, repairs and machining services, and material and equipment handling services to ensure correct and proper implementation of terms by contractors. Reviews/ proposes budget value. makes draft design of certain , baskets, skids and submit for approval. Desired Candidate Profile Completion in Engineering/Scientific Certificate. 7 years experience in Drilling Operations/Drilling Engineering with strong background in the use of Well Head equipment & Down Hole Tools. Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
