Education: Secondary education followed by 2 years formal full time industrial training in Instrumentation, electronics or Diploma in instrumentation Skills: Good working knowledge of computers and computer based Networking system. Principal Accountability experience in the installation, maintenance, repairs and overhaul of pneumatic, electrical and electronic instrumentation and systems of various types and serving diverse purposes, and in the maintenance of turbine controls and solid state/programmable logic instrumentation systems, preferably including a period of formal apprenticeship. Carries out skilled and complex fault-finding, repair, installation, maintenance and overhaul work on all types of pneumatic, electrical and electronic instrumentation and control/plant safety systems, including specialist work on telemetry, laboratory, turbine control, and computer and alarm systems, in workshop and on site.
