Job Description We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC in the U.A.E for a: SENIOR QA /QC ENGINEER This is an opportunity for you to manage site inspection and QAQC matters of phase 1A scope of work related structural material control and certification ,TPC , site audit of critical process, WPS/PQR,WPQR, monitoring fit-ups and welding of TKY , welding and dimensional control , NDT ,PAUT, protective coating and documentation review of all site Your main duties will be to: 1. Ensure that the quality requirements of the fabrication, construction and installation Ensure that the quality requirements of the fabrication, construction and installation activities 2.Supervise a team of Quality Control, welding, and NDT Inspectors and ensure that Project Quality Plans are prepared, implemented and adhered to throughout the Project Life Cycle. 3.Ensure that Contractor, Sub-Contractors and Vendors have the required competent resources, implant internationally acceptable practices and delivery of a product in compliance to QP Corporate and Project Quality requirements. 4.Review and ensure that all work undertaken by Contractor/ Sub-Contractors/ Vendors/ Manufacturers/ Service providers is in accordance with project specifications, the Shell DEPs, specifications, International codes and standards, and Contract QA/QC requirements. 5. Monitor the stage (in-process) inspection of offshore steel structure fabrications, and top side facilities at contractor fabrication premises and verify the product conformity to QP corporate standard, project specs, and international codes/standard. 6.Ensure that product which does not conform to product requirements is identified and controlled to prevent its unintended release for delivery. 8.Auditing the main contractors site implementation of the approved Quality Control procedures and Quality control plans SPIE Oil and Gas Services is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. Desired Candidate Profile Ideally you will have a BSc, HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering. required certification CSWIP 3.2.Valid CSWIP 3.2 or senior AWSI (senior welding inspector), Certification in phased array PAUT , TOFD is an added advantage , however good knowledge of PAUT is essential. You will be Level-3 NDT ASNT-III or equivalent PCN , PAUT certification are an added advantage NDT qualification e.g.ASNT-III is preferable. You will have a Recognize formal qualification in Quality Assurance /Quality Control /Valid QMS lead auditor. You will have a 15 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas Downstream Industry with an international consultancy company, Third Party inspection/certification Company, EPIC contractor or end user in major projects implementation is essential.
