Vacancy: Senior Mechanical Engineer Urgently required for Oil & Gas industry Sector in Abu Dhabi Minimum Job Requirements: • B. Sc. In Mechanical Engineering • 9 years’ experience in diverse metal crafts including machine tooling, bench fitting and the fabrication, welding and repair with some experience of heavy lifting equipment and vehicle maintenance and civil business, preferably with field experience in a Refinery, Petrochemical plant and power plant. • Workshop experience is a must. • Good knowledge of English. PURPOSE OF THE JOB • Directs, Coordinates, Advises And Technically Supports All Activities Of Comprehensive Workshop, Heavy Equipment And Civil Maintenance Services At ADRD Including Maintenance And Repair Of Wide Range Of Heavy Mobile Equipment. • Reviews And Provides Technical Advice And Supervision On All Repair And Modification Jobs Pertaining To Rotating And Static Equipment. • Reviews Ad Studies Workshop Strategies And Activities To Ensure Achieving Optimum Performance By Developing Necessary Procedures And Work Plans, Recommends Future Replacements And Prepares Necessary Budget Proposals. • Also Responsible For All Mechanical Maintenance Activities of Mussafah Terminal. • Directs Troubleshooting Of Chronic Problems Identifies Reasons And Recommends Remedial Actions, Ensures That Maintenance Services Are Provided Safety And Efficiently. • Reviews of Projects Documentation and Management of Change (MOC) proposals. Supervision: • Directs and supervises the activities of assigned personnel in the workshop and on-site. Performs supervisory functions at the level established by management for the position. • Directs the maintenance of all building, roads, steel structure, foundation supports, drainage systems, pipe work systems, painting and various civil work activities at ADR. Ensures conformity to specifications of contracted out jobs.
