Pls Note that: This is a 4 month contract job, based in Abu Dhabi. Who are willing to work on this condition, only those should apply. Responsibilities: a) Prepare base plans and WBS for different projects in conjunction with Job officers/project Engineers. b) Prepare a detailed work scope and schedule for loading arm replacement during Shutdown window. c) Integrate planning works with other divisions such as General Technical services and Maintenance for optimisation of resources. d) Input planning data such as activities, task, logic, resources, key dates, progress etc. e) Develop schedules for multi task activities using primavera software. f) Monitor the work in progress with respect to the approved schedules/milestones. g) Prepare and present detailed planning information such as Gantt charts, histograms, PERT charts, Baselines Schedules, S Curves & Progress reports. h) Review proposals from subcontractors on execution and schedule. i) Liaise with Maintenance Planning Section to update the activities carried out by Engineering Division in ADGAS plant areas. j) Generate project schedules and associate resource forecast. k) Analyse and communicate to the Management for any variance between the actual work in progress and the approved schedules. l) Interface with Project Managers/Engineers/Job officers/procurement/subcontractors if any to secure project information. m) Create all modifications and studies in Engineering Management system (EMS) and generate weekly or monthly status report. n) Maintain database for all design and engineering works managed by Engineering (Mod /MMC etc) o) Provide feedback to Cost Engineering for preparing monthly accruals, variance analysis and project status. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical. Min 8-10 yrs of experience as Planning Engineer performing Planning, scheduling/project controls activities in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry using Primavera software. Ability to produce Level- 3 schedules, Manpower histograms, gantt chart, S-curves with minimum guidance & supervision. Analytical & supervision skills. Working experience with planning software like primavera, MS project, etc. Very good knowledge of written & spoken English. Work is mainly on Das island.
