JOB OBJECTIVES: To manage submittals and approvals. To provide technical support to the construction team with respect to coordination of architecture, MEP, structural and other engineering aspects. And ensure compliance to specifications in order to meet the program and contractual obligations and sign-offs. To deal with technical issues as they arise on the project. Key Accountabilities: To provide coordination drawings and technical submittals to a deliverables program agreed with the Project Manager. To manage external design where required for temporary works, subcontractor design elements and coordination of design interfaces. To contribute to quality control and quality assurance in order to support quality programs. To receive, register, store and distribute the project documents in order to arrange the document control system to support designing, procurement and construction. To obtain technical product data and sample, review compliance to specification and submission in order to comply with schedule. Manage change in the technical requirements of the project Contribute to project completion activities driven by QA Manager. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: + 12 years in construction with Managerial experience SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: 12 years’ experience in the building or civil work. 4 years’ experience as technical manager. Proven track record of delivery on projects with major Clients.
