Reports to: Projects Manager PURPOSE:This job Description describes the duties and responsibilities of BD / Marketing Engineer. SCOPE: This Job Description shall apply to anyone who is assigned to this job irrespective of his grade in the Company. REPORTS TO: Manager BD / Marketing Responsibilities: • Assists and support BD / Marketing Manager, in meeting yearly business targets. • Ensures continuous business for the Company. • Acquires information on current and future projects. • Obtain information from clients and other sources for preparation of bids and proposals, review of received RFQ including specification, drawings and other information from client to fully understand the customer’s requirements. • Preparation and addressing of Pre-bid clarifications. • Making strategy for submission of proposal and resolving pre-bid issues • Compilation of Technical & Commercial Proposal and discussion with BD / Marketing Manager before submission to client. • Manage the proposals in time, discuss the same with department head, submit them to clients and maintains a strong follow up with the clients. • Addressing of post-bid clarifications. • Assisting BD / Marketing Manager in finalization of contracts. • Takes full responsibilities for conversions of various cost elements in the preliminary budget revisions in case of contract award & forward to project management department after compilation through BD / Marketing Manager. • Assists BD / Marketing Manager in preparing a marketing strategy and business development plan to meet the yearly objectives and targets • Be aware of the market changes and identify upcoming opportunities for the Company. • Provides market intelligence for BD / Marketing, identify potential pitfalls and hurdles, suggest and implement ways to remove these hurdles. • Identify and develop new customers, while keeping regular liaison with existing customers. • Takes steps required to facilitate potential business with new customers. This includes registration as a supplier with relevant authorities, pre-qualification etc. Industry Type : Oil & Gas / Petroleum Functional Area : Sales / Business Development Desired Candidate Profile Education Qualification: • BE - Mechanical + MBA – Oil & Gas. Work Experience: • Min 6 Years of Experience in Oil & Gas Sector. Candidate should speak Fluent English & Arabic.
