Purpose of Job: Plans, directs, maintains, and supervises the activities of the Fire Section efficiently and effectively. Performs a variety of technical, administrative, and supervisory work in planning, organizing, directing and implementing fire prevention, suppression and emergency response services to prevent or minimize the loss of life and property by fire and emergency conditions. Acts as the Principal Advisor on Fire, Rescue and HAZMAT operations. Leads the fire and rescue activities, emergency planning and business continuity planning. Industry Type : Oil & Gas / Petroleum Functional Area : Engineering Desired Candidate Profile Minimum Job Requirements: B.Sc. degree in Fire Science or equivalent. 10 years’ experience in various aspects of Fire Protection, preferably in an oil refinery or petrochemical plant, of which at least 5 years in a supervisory level. Has detailed understanding of Fire and Safety regulations applicable to petroleum refineries / process industries. UAE Driving License is an advantage. Computer Software user’s knowledge and experience. Good knowledge of English.
