Supervise maintenance and repair work on all underwater facilities including structures in and under splash zone, pipeline and electrical cable networks, to ensure completion to required standards and specifications. Principal Accountabilities: a.) Supervise the activities of contracted personnel working offshore, to ensure that maintenance work is carried out correctly and efficiently. b.) Prepare maintenance and repair campaigns for the underwater facilities in Zakum, Satah and Umm Al Dalkh fields, and submit for review and approval. c.) Prepare procedures and scope of repair / maintenance in order to participate in the tender preparation and bidder selection processes. d.) Supervise the work or contractors to ensure completion as scheduled and to the required standards and specifications. e.) Coordinate availability of spare parts and tools required to perform the task. f.) Analyze results of work performed and make recommendation on work practices and procedures. Ensure that the network data is continuously updated. g.) Technically check invoices for payment to contractors, to ensure that they are in accordance with the work carried out. Organizational Relationships (Work Contacts): Regular contacts at own and next higher level within the Company, to advise on work progress and follow up technical problems. Contact with external parties when necessary. Desired Candidate Profile Qualification & Experience: a.) Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent certificate. b.) 6 years experience in Offshore Subsea Engineering activities. c.) Very good knowledge of English.
