TOPSIDES COMPLETION SERVICE Location: Karimun, Indonesia Status: Rotation (4x4) Duration: 9 months Starting Date: ASAP Languages: Fluent English mandatory Job Dimension The Service holder is responsible, within the FPSO team and under the CSR and Topsides manager, for the the completion (monitoring, supervising and expediting) of construction / pre-commissioning activities of each modules carried out by FPSO Contractor (and Subcontractors) at the main Construction/fabrication Topsides yard where most of topsides modules are fabricated. The Service holder will focus on modules fabrication / pre-commissioning during their latest weeks before Sail away to integration yard: he/she will coordinate fabrication priority and remaining works to be completed with the objective that the modules reach a ready for Sail away status timely. To this purpose the Service holder shall liaise daily on worksite with the CONTRACTOR Construction team, COMPANY Discipline superintendents and supervisors to: ensure a detailed daily look ahead schedule allowing to complete the module timely is set and achieved for the concerned modules; review possible activities to be performed and to ensure that completion of each module before Sail Away is as advanced as possible. interfaces as well with the Topsides area leaders to optimize modules scheduling, to ensure that latest Design Changes have been properly implemented during construction/fabrication and to track the remaining missing materials arriving on site. ensure that Outstanding / Carry Over works lists are prepared by CONTRACTOR and completed / accurate at time of Sail Away ensure adequate reporting (progress, area of concerns, actions...) on daily basis to the CSR / Topside Manager. The Service holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behavior with regard to HSE, ethics and “code of conduct” and promotes safety awareness at all level through exemplary and pro-active attitude with Project team and Contractor (Subcontractors). Principal Accountabilities To adopt and to demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and HSSE rules and regulations. To ensure promotion and implementation by the FPSO Construction team of the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy. To be kept informed of the project Referential, international standards related to his/her area of responsibility, taking knowledge from them to application to the Project. To liaise actively with Superintendant discipline Leaders in order to be kept informed of changes related to technical matters that may impact his/her area of responsibility. To ensure promotion and implementation by FPSO Construction team of the Project HSSE plans and procedures. To ensure that the FPSO Contractor is enforcing his/her contractual commitments, is implementing properly his Contract plan and objectives, is safely, properly and timely performing his/her activities as per Contract specifications, design and codes for the Topsides part fabricated in the yard. As such, he/she: Participates to Construction / site meetings with Contractor/Subcontractors; Ensures that for all remaining construction activities , Contractor have adequate resources (equipment and manpower) mobilized in due time to performed the Service; Ensures the timely completion of the works and monitor closely Contractor performance, work schedule and progress; Ensure that all fabrication steps and pre-commissioning activities are properly completed for Modules delivery ready for commissioning; Review with CONTRACTOR on daily basis and adjust if necessary their “completion schedule activities” Review with topsides area leader the engineering and procurement status of the modules to ensure maximum completion at the time of sail away; Ensures that uncompleted activities are properly tracked and recorded under document developed by CONTRACTOR; Stop the work when necessary & report immediately to Contractor any anomaly, violation & unsafe practice; Maintains good relationships with Contractor, but being strict to achieve the project objectives. Prepare at the end of his rotation, complete handover for his back to back to minimize disruption due to shift change. To report on daily basis to CSR / Topside Manager about fabrication efficiency, and potential drifts on quality, planning and/or cost. To propose actions plan and corrective actions to CSR / Topside manager for any supervision or control process improvement. To propose actions plan and corrective actions to Contractor for any fabrication deficiency, anomaly or non compliance. To ensure confidentiality of all the documentation issued or matters raised under his/her area of responsibility. Due to the large amount of work (2 FPSO / 22 500T of topsides…) and the reduced size of the construction supervision team, the Service holder must have a strong knowledge of his activities and the ability to analyse and evaluate the critical parts of his activities in order to organise properly his team and to focus the spot checking on the main critical subjects. Qualifications Required EXPERIENCE: Professional Experience (years): 20 + Experience in similar position (years): mini 10-15. KNOWLEDGE: Construction techniques and experience HSSE Auditing techniques Topsides fabrication techniques Multi disciplines Knowledge Contractor Management (Technical & Organization) Project Management (budget/cost/schedule) Knowledge of Project referential / rules Team management (relationship) Knowledge of International norms & standards Risk identification and assessment Management / negotiation with contractors EDUCATION: Engineer or equivalent OTHER SKILLS: English mandatory
