Principal Accountabilities 1. Responsible for the interface between Offshore Re-Development project and company Asset Operations teams ensuring effective work methods operations while maintaining agreed operating adherence to production plans. Ensure that the Project phase tie-ins to existing Assets are well defined and are technically and commercially supported by both parties in achieving “Fit for Purpose” solutions in a safe, environmental and timely manner Ensure Project scopes are well defined and schedule achieves maximum quality in delivery Take in initiative and be responsible for Project phase modifications to existing facilities to ensure minimum disruption to Asset production and to extend Asset life with expected field reserves. Ensure company’s Project schedule and milestones are commonly understood across both Project and Asset Liaise with the Asset Operations teams and technical specialists for scope identification, progress reporting and Management of Change processes. Ensure technical compliance of all modifications against Project and companhy Asset standards, specifications Participate in Offshore audits and reviews and contribute to Pre Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR) prior to Project delivery to Statement of Fitness Acceptance of Work by the Asset Ensure the engineering change process is robust, controlled and in compliance with procedures taking into account budget controls. Participation in the continuous improvement of the Project/Asset operating teams. Experienced engineer with track record of delivering multidiscipline, multi contract Brownfield engineering projects on aged assets. Significant project engineering/management experience preferably with employment on behalf of client organization. Ensure co-ordination and communication with Project Operations Managers, Company Operation Departments to ensure alignment and integration of the offshore project scope (mainly consisting of the Central Production Complex, Wellhead Jackets (new & existing) and Pipelines/Subsea scope) with existing facilities. Support project objectives and goals through various activities, including but not limited to: endorsing Pre-FEED, FEED and EPIC deliverables, effective contribution to the Design Basis and Scope of Work for FEED and EPIC and participating in Change Management/Variation Control processes in order to ensure accomplishment of project objectives and targets as planned. Ensure proper operational inputs to the engineering design, PFD’s, P&ID’s, constructability reviews, etc. by participating in the design/safety/operational reviews (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, etc.) with the aim of ensuring safe and reliable operation, and effective integration with existing facilities and consequent smooth handover of the facilities. Contribute to the planning for execution of SIMOPS/MOPO, in coordination with project tea in order to ensure effective interface management between construction/commissioning activities and existing operations. Support the established Risk Management process in order to ensure successful and timely completion of the project. Decision Making Authority Operate within the framework of an integrated Project Management function, established Corporate Management policies, internationally recognized standard Industry Practices, and contracting procedures. Independent authority for all inputs, plans, activities and decisions related to the operational aspects of the offshore and onshore scope for the project. Exposed, for extended periods of time, to assignments overseas/Offshore locations Exposed to different cultures, backgrounds and environments. Need to attend to and resolve conflicts, challenges and problems related to a large multi-cultural and multi-discipline operational workforce. Exposed to offshore/onshore work environment during construction, installation, hook-up, commissioning, start-up and handover. Activities executed with the highest required level of confidentiality. Context/Special Features/Challenges Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience Minimum Qualification B.Sc. degree in an Engineering discipline from a recognized university. Experience/Knowledge/Skills A minimum of 10-15 years experience in Oil & Gas operations, of which a minimum of 15- 8 years experience in operational leadership roles on major Offshore Processing Complex operations and/or Onshore Gas Processing facilities, with proven track record. Experienced in the implementation of Industry best practices and Company’s systems, processes and standards.
