The Project Engineer role will be accountable for project engineering and interface management for two gas project developments which will be tied back to existing infrastructure. The project engineer is a key member of the Developments Project Team and will support the developments in pre-sanction phase interfacing with; subsurface, drilling, and commercial, HSEQ, subsea and topsides facilities. The successful candidate will have 5-10 years experience within a project engineering role, with exposure to both offshore brownfield projects (North Sea) as well as greenfield subsea developments. Main Duties: §Communications and interface management with joint venture partners, Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) and other stakeholders. §Support the development of a clear Basis of Design for the developments and manage any changes to the basis through the project lifecycle. §Developing scopes of work, specifications and invitations to tender §Managing conceptual design and FEED contractor specialist consultants and vendors. §Reviewing contractors proposals and engineering drawings and procedures. Manages interface activities between the client, vendors and partners during the select, define and the execute phases to final close out. §Monitor the project schedule and identify key interface milestones. §Resolving conflicts in the plan and communicate options and risks to the Project Manager. §Liaise with the team representative with monitoring of the activities of the contractors to ensure the effectiveness of interfaces. §Establish regular interface meetings, with participating parties and ensure the derived minutes are entered into the interface archives. Qualifications: §Engineering degree qualified or equivalent. §Ideally chartered engineer or working towards chartership. §Membership of a professional engineering institution. Candidates must also have a strong knowledge of all phases of major oil and gas projects e.g. concept selection, FEED, engineering, fabrication, commissioning and handover. APPLY
