SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER required by our client, an International Oil and Gas Operator, to be hired on a contract basis, located in Perth, Australia Duration: 6 Months PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Companys policies and procedures. Support the offshore facility hook-up and commissioning campaign as required including planning, logistics support, participation at risk assessments, readiness reviews Liaise with contractors for safe execution of works in compliance with specifications and contract requirements including flotel contractors, hook-up and commissioning contractors, EPC contractors etc. Provide technical and project management support to the Offshore Support Manager and Offshore Company Site Representatives during the installation, hook-up and commissioning campaign. Identify and implement optimised sequence of activities throughout the installation, hook-up and commissioning campaign in close conjunction with drilling and offshore packages. EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Tertiary Engineering qualifications. Extensive experience in Oil & Gas industry with a proven understanding of offshore construction, installation and hook-up activities. Multi-disciplined with a broad range of experience in offshore engineering and construction preferred. Understanding of offshore construction contracts. Understanding of offshore industry HSE requirements. APPLY
