At this stage, we are particularly looking for an Project Engineer Location: KLCC Area, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Duration: 3 months possible extension of 6 more months Start date: 1 November 2016 Experience Requirements: 3-5 Years in Oil & Gas Construction Assist Bid Pursuit Manager in managing the FEED and Bid process effectively including preparing internal presentation material and bid submission documents Coordinating inputs from the various functional departments and Bid Proposal Coordinator during the bidding phase and subsequently with specific functions allotted contributing to the execution of the project. Coordinating the generation of deliverables/reports/procedures required for the bid and the project. Job Role & Responsibilities: Review Tender Documents including Instructions to Tenderer’s, Scope of work, Key Contract Dates, Commercial Price forms, terms of payment, etc and closely work with Bid Proposal Coordinator to prepare submission documents on time. Monitor progress of the Bidding activity and highlight concerns to the Proposal Manager. Ensure that the Bid development and bid inputs remain in accordance with the Capture Plan strategies developed in advance (or as subsequently revised). Ensure that technical and internal bid review inputs are received in the requested format. Expedite inputs to ensure that the bidding schedule is not jeopardized. Prepare Technical/Commercial qualifications listing for review. Ensure reports as defined in the procedure document to satisfy Management bid review requirements. Review regularly the Proposal Document, to ensure that the requirements of the Customer are fully satisfied in terms of format, content and consistency. Monitor Bid Support Budgets of all Functions and advise Proposal Manager of any potential overruns. Assist in preparation and implementation of Project Execution Plan (PEP). Attend the Weekly Progress Meetings and assist in preparation of Minutes of Meetings. Coordinate and review all inputs and changes to the bid & project plan. Monitors work in progress and prepares weekly report of the status of each assignment. Ensure all procedures and calculations are submitted for review and approval as per schedule. Review the project plan (Bid & Project) along with the project planner and assist in preparation of submission documents. Review and update of any scope of work documents produced by the respective functional departments and identify changes. Coordinate and ensure that the Engineering activities are carried out in accordance with the Engineering Plan. Coordinate and ensure that the Procurement & Subcontract activities are carried out in accordance with the Procurement Plan Coordinate with Production Engineers and offshore field engineers on progress of work activities on the project. Follow up the implementation of lessons learned and ensures that lessons learned on the project are prepared and documented in the data base. Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture among colleagues across the company. Any other task that Proposals Manager assigns. The Proposals Manager may assign other responsibilities as necessary. Educational Background: BSc or above
