Our client have an immediate requirement for a QC NDE Inspector on a new build gas plant project in Jazan, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities Reporting to the Site QAQC Department Supervisor Responsibilities will include: Monitoring and implementation of QMS Procedures, PQP, ITP & method statements and reporting deviations from management system / contractual requirements of the projects. Verifying that all necessary inspections and tests, as required of the project and statutory regulations, are carried out and appropriate records are updated and maintained. Coordinating quality activities with subcontractors and any other individual parties who may be working on the same site. Coordination with clients / third party, in accordance with approved ITP, for agreed witness inspections & tests. Monitoring NDT Method application, interpretation of results, interpretation of codes and standards, preparation of procedures, and training of Level I and Level II personnel. Monitor Visual, Radiography/RTFI, UT(MUT – Manual UT), AUT (Automatic UT e.g. ToFD, Phased Array), Magnetic Particle, and Liquid Penetrant. Ensuring close-out of all snags / punch-points within the time frame agreed with the client. Performing assigned in-process and final products inspection and tests. Ensuring all equipment’s, tools and materials meet with the project quality requirements and that personnel have been adequately trained to use them safely. Identification of non-calibrated equipment’s and informing Subcontractor QC for expediting arrangements with Calibration agencies for timely calibration of the equipment’s. Liaison with client representative concerning quality matters on site. To be conversant with the company QHSE procedures & policies and ensure that all the people on the site observe and implement them. Identifying near miss and nonconformities in materials, products, processes, procedures and reporting the near miss / nonconformities in the near miss / nonconformity report. Verification of implementation of corrective & preventive actions against the nonconformities and reporting results to QAQC Supervisors and line managers, if necessary. Preparation of final quality dossiers / test packs and maintaining backups of completed quality dossiers / test packs. Submitting weekly report and requested information / statistics to Department QC Supervisor. Liaison with QAQC Supervisor/ QAQC Manager for all aspects of quality. Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills Hold a current recognised certification of their NDT qualifications. Shall have been tested and certified by ASNT (or equivalent nationally recognized and Approved program) in the required NDT methods specified by the Contract and shall be required to fulfill the full scope of a practicing Level III including: method application, interpretation of results, interpretation of codes and standards, preparation of procedures, and training of Level I and Level II personnel. Should be certified with Non-destructive Testing (NDT) Level III, ASNT Have the knowledge & Experience of NDT testing. Lead the Contractor QC Inspectors 5 years of experience in Construction on industrial gases, oil & gas or related industry projects which should be construction site based. 3 years in relevant inspection Team Player Strong communicator written and oral Strong and effective coordinator Organised, disciplined, able to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities and parallel tasks Strong Microsoft software skills, particularly Excel Report writing skills Experience of working in a multicultural project team Middle East project experience Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Skills Experience in KSA Saudi Aramco experience Experience of working on camp based construction sites in remote Middle East location. Rotation 10 weeks on / 2 weeks off Working Hours 6 days/week, 10hrs/day on site, excluding travel time between accommodation and site. Friday is weekend’.
