Site investigation, Data collection, Report preparation; Preliminary studies, planning and implementation; Route selection; Gather environmental data (topographic), diversions. Be familiar with agreed fees, scope of services, program and profitability. Evaluation of bids and preparation of BOQ. Preparation of tender documents. Prepare calculations, drawings, schedules, reports and specifications from Concept to Detailed Design Stage including Contract Drawings. Witnessing of factory testing (FAT), Procedures of Site constructions & Method statements; Site visits to assure design implementation; Witnessing of Site Testing and commissioning, Controlling of works according to the specifications and EPC contract; Progress monitoring of Contractor in line with agreed time schedule. In-depth knowledge on QA/QC procedure and system; Able to manage small team of engineers and technicians, mentor them and capable of carrying out review of their work. Has experience in getting Client and Local Authority Apply Quality, HSE and Environmental policies and responsible for audit. Undergo performance review by the line manager. Assist project proposals and variation orders. Negotiate fee proposals. Reporting to Principal Design Engineer/Director. GCC experience is must. In-depth exposure on safety and procedures; PMI certification for large-scale, complex international EPC projects Education Master / Bachelor in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Infrastructure Engineering / Water Resource Engineering (University Degree) Experience Minimum 10 years’ consultancy experience in the wet utilities infrastructure sector and particularly, in best design practices for water quality and sustainable site design. Requested skills Sound knowledge of GCC Building Codes, Local and International Standards. Software skills Working knowledge of Water GEMS, Sewer GEMS, Water CAD, Storm CAD, Sewer CAD, Civil Storm, Flow Master, Culvert Master, Pond Pack, Water Hammer, InfoWorks CS, InfoWorks WS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Civil 3D, WinDes, ArcGIS, QGIS, Epanet, MIKE, Autodesk Storm, Microstation, MS Office etc. Language Excellent written and oral presentation skills in English. Other European Languages, like German, French are of advantages.
