Job Description Position will be Client Supervisor (Client Nightshift Representative) for all ongoing nightshift activities.Main priority will be to ensure safe execution of the nightshift activities while monitoring / recording progress and reporting it to the day shift Construction Management team Exercise all aspects of oversight over main contractor such that the project is safely delivered to the required standards and agreed schedule; Provide E&I and mechanical construction expertise, to both the Company and Contractor teams, with the aim of ensuring the safest and most cost effective construction methods are used throughout the EPC execution phase; Coordinate any required supports function to ensure efficient construction of the Plant equipment: Quality, Schedule, Cost, Scaffolding, Painting, Insulation, Engineering, E&I, Logistics etc; Attend any necessary progress coordination meeting with Contractor / Subcontractor; Ensure that pre-commissioning activities are being tracked by Contractor / Subcontractor as per Contract; Provide an interface between construction and engineering by supporting discipline engineers for both company and contractor; Review subcontractor execution plans to ensure alignment to the approved Contractor schedules; Develop strong working relationships within the Contractors construction teams to provide a cohesive interface with all of the key mechanical aspects of the project including completions and commissioning; Assist Contractor construction teams to review all subcontractor deliverables; Identify and highlight any risks, opportunities or threats that may have a favorable or adverse impact on milestone achievement within project quality or schedule objectives; Provide support in the development and implementation of Contractor contingency plans, as appropriate, to maintain schedule objectives; Support the review and swift resolution of Technical Queries (TQs); Co-ordinate with Operations team to meet design requirements of LNG operability, plant start up, pre-commissioning and safe operations; Hands-on support to main contractor and company teams during construction and pre-commissioning phases with the day to day coordination, control and performance monitoring of the main contractor; Ensure quality of construction meets project standards and requirements; Ensure best practice construction considerations and methods are delivered to the project; Provide technical expertise and guide Contractor / Subcontractor toward best practices and construction standards. Job Requirements Degree qualification (Electrical/Mechanical) and/or >7 years equivalent relevant experience; Sound understanding of the oil and gas business including associated buildings and infrastructure; Demonstrable understanding of Subcontracts, Scope of Work, BOQs, FWBS documentation and the ability to advise Construction Management as to the validity or otherwise of subcontractor raised Change Orders; Sound understanding of applicable Codes and Standards to ensure compliance of Construction activities during erection by subcontractors; Experience with client or EPCM Tier 1 Contractor on major onshore construction projects; Demonstrable experience in the construction of large scale LNG projects; Demonstrable experience in managing major contractors in the execution of multiple scopes, including HSE, SMP and E&I, progress reporting, cost reporting and scheduling, working knowledge of Australian Safety Legislation and Workplace practices; Demonstrable experience of compliance and application of HSE Management systems and procedures; Minimum 7 years experience on an LNG Construction Project.
