Coordinate between the production, engineering, and maintenance functions with guidance and support from the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and Team Managers to improve workforce productivity and work quality by proactively eliminating potential delays and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of parts, machine time and manpower. Focus to increase plant reliability, performance efficiency, minimize unplanned plant interruptions, and reduce costs associated to failures. Receive and screen incoming work orders, determine identification of scope, and conduct analysis of required planning. Prioritize, review and make edits to work plans to ensure quality, efficiencies, and accuracy. Obtains blueprints, drawings, pictures, instructional manuals and special procedures, as needed, from files or other sources to clarify the intent of the work order. Identify and coordinate necessary steps and resources required to complete assigned work with sufficient lead time. Resources may include tools and equipment, permitting requirements, drawings and manuals, work scope and job instructions, operating conditions, safety hazards, etc. Estimate level of hours (effort) required by skill, work duration and cost of parts and materials required for various repairs and preventative maintenance items. Determines the best way to accomplish the work. Consults with subject matter experts when necessary. Plan future maintenance work to reduce delays and maximize wrench-time. Develop and plan based upon work requests and field scope of the equipment for repair. Arrange staging and kitting of parts and materials as appropriate. Ensure all work orders and maintenance log items are completed with proper review & data. Review equipment specific failure analysis reports and identify process improvement possibilities. Monitor trends and analysis of maintenance planning process and work plan execution. Makes recommendations for resolving issues, tracks budgets, and implements process efficiencies. Maintenance of job library including updating job plans and making additions when needed. Creation and maintenance of key KPI’s (eg. WO backlog, Planning Accuracy). Present and report out KPI’s as needed. Assist with development and tracking of maintenance performance measures. APPLY
