Job Description The Lead Shutdown Planner is responsible for all aspects of the shutdown integrated schedule, including pre-execution planning and preparation activities, pre-shutdown execution activities, Operations rundown, restart and decontamination activities, and shutdown event activities. The Lead Shutdown Planner will prepare detailed schedules, assist in the development of execution plans, establish robust progress controls, forecast potential issues and prepare recovery plans. Responsibilities include liaising with all shutdown and IOSC functional groups to ensure the shutdown is planned in sufficient detail to allow adequate forecasting to ensure Shutdown milestones are achieved. The Lead Shutdown Planner will also have a key role in the offshore execution and close out and reconciliation phases of the shutdown. Job Requirements Minimum qualification is Trade/Diploma level qualification in Electrical or Mechanical field; Minimum 10 years experience in planning / scheduling associated with major offshore oil and gas projects; Past planning experience with oil and gas facility shutdowns; Advanced application of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (SAP or other); Advanced scheduling tool experience e.g. Primavera or similar; Proven planning coordination and leadership skills in large projects environment; Experience with Plant shutdown/turnaround activities, including planning, resource requirements, cost management, material reservations, etc.; Must have strong PC skills including the use of MS Word, Excel, and Project; Able to adjust to changing schedules and priorities; Must be able to work in multi-discipline large project team environment; Must exhibit effective communication and people management skills.
