Amec Foster Wheeler is currently seeking an Architect to join our team in Malaysia. Duties include independent technical reviews, project scope development, field investigation, planning, specifications, problem and conflict resolution, scheduling and design production. The majority of work is local / municipal and some federal projects including renovation, repairs and new construction. Provide architectural trouble-shooting or consultations Provide technical and project advice and guidance to client Project Managers Conduct comprehensive technical reviews of professional studies, reports and analysis Collaborate with managers, other engineers / architects, construction Project Managers, legal staff, contract specialists and/or contractor personnel Provide advice and insight on the resolution of unique and/or complex architectural problems and disputes Provide technical reviews and review comments for Design / Build and A/E contractor submittals Provide technical responses for A/E and contractor requests for information and coordinate with client Project Manager Execute architectural projects including on site data gathering and assessments, Charrettes, drawings, plans, specifications, design analyses, opinion of costs, studies, design review meetings and deliverables submission packages Document Production and Control - Ensure production schedules are met and the presentation formats of documents meet company standards General Liaison / Interface - Ensure administrative correspondence produced by company for clients is a professional reflection of the company Personnel Direction / Management - Provide direction and administrative quality control to project team members to ensure project needs are met on time and within budget Marketing and business development Management of technical and products library
