Location: Bulgaria 1 GENERAL SUMMARY The Asset Preparation Lead will be dedicated to support the SSTTBV logistic team. He/she organizes, advises, supports and/or facilitates the asset preparation scope in Bulgaria as required. This position will report to the MY manager. 2 TOTAL NUMBER OF REPORTING STAFF 2 Asset preparation coordinators QA/QC staff 3 REPORTING LINE Reports to the Marshalling Yard Coordinator and the Marshalling Yard Manager 4 TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure the scope of the pipe cleaning / QJ cutting contractor is executed according to scope, requirements and schedule by the contractor under the specifications of the contract • Have regular meetings with Contractor, agents and subcontractors • Coordinate and administer variations under guidance of the MY manager and in coordination with logistic team • Administer, monitor contract extensions, terminations, variations as applicable • Monitor and control Contractors performance • Support and administer periodic Contractor reviews, audits, etc. • Obtain from contractors/suppliers and distribute MoM to relevant parties and coordinate signoff and logging in DMS/Fileshare • Attend internal meetings as requested • Respond to HSSE incidents as per company standard • Co-ordinate with MY Manager to ensure required technical cover is provided • Identify and flag problems reported by other team members • Monitor inspection coverage, identify and flag problems reported • Receive and distribute contractor reports; ensure these reports are reviewed by the reporting line 5 QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS • Able to organize and manage multiple teams • Problem solver to ensure Contractor can meet progress requirements • Educated to Bachelor level or equivalent • Minimum 10 year’s relevant experience in construction and oil and gas industry, preferably with specific knowledge of pipe condition/requirements for offshore pipelay activities • Solid understanding of industry contractual agreements and best practices • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, good data management and computer literacy • Integrity and ethical behavior • Proactive attitude • Ability to work under pressure • Business level English. Additional languages such as Bulgarian, Italian and Dutch may be a plus • Able to communicate at all levels with both internal and external parties
