Job Description Are you a driven, dedicated and ambitious Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer and interested in joining the team of our client, a major oil & gas company ? Maintains the technical integrity of the process control systems, software and associated field instruments, electrical systems and MCCs. Conceives, designs and implements changes/upgrades to the plant safety systems, process control systems, software, associated field equipment and MCCs. Acts as Client Representative on all matters associated with the above systems and significant expansions to facilities or new facilities. Reports to the Engineering Manager. - Develop and maintain procedures to assure the condition of the process and utilities equipment will provide safe and reliable operation. - Determine the capacities of I & E systems to ensure that the systems operate stably during all phases of expansion, commissioning and operations. - Provide engineering input into scope for shutdowns/turnarounds. - Development, improvement and optimisation of existing systems, standards and procedures. - Maintain I & E system reliability and integrity by identifying and mitigating risks in a timely and efficient manner. - Ensure safe working procedures are prepared and updated and regulations are understood. - Assist with HAZOP’s, HAZODs, SIL Studies and other engineering reviews. - Participate in safety meetings, audits and action audit recommendations in a timely fashion. Reporting and Communication 1. Reports to the Engineering Manager on all issues relating own responsibilities. 2. Exhibits and maintains excellent professional working relationships with CreDan staff.
