Role: 3GP Electrical Engineer Company: Bolashak-Atyrau Experience: Experience: 10+ years experience in providing electrical engineering expertise to major capital projects for design, study, fabrication, installation, commissioning and operation of all types of electrical equipment. Skills: Electrical design in major capital projects including layout and detail issues. Proficient in reviewing designs of complex electrical systems and associated facilities. Experience in providing for the electrical requirements for all types of mechanical equipment. Expert at applying API and other standards to the design of facilities and equipment. Previous experience with Republic of Kazakhstan is a plus. Review and approve EPC contractor design deliverables. Provide guidance for EPC contractors electrical engineering personnel in area of expertise. Job Requirements: The Area Electrical Engineer will work with the EPCm contractor to deliver the electrical scope of work for this major project area. The position will report to the Area Engineering Manager, but will take technical direction from the Lead Electrical Engineer for company in Farnborough. This position will require skills and experience in electrical design utilizing philosophies and specifications developed for the Project and Company. Ensure that the Electrical design for Area is safe, operable, maintainable, cost effective, constructible, robust and meets the Project design basis. Ensure the design and implementation accommodates modularization requirements and is in line with Company and Project standards for configuration, operation and maintainability. Coordinate SME input when required. Ensure key deliverables reviews, comments and approvals are-submitted timely in order to avoid engineering schedule delays. Develop strong collaboration and communication with EPC counterparts and other Project and Company functional Teams in Houston, Farnborough and other Engineering and fabrication sites.
