Requirements: EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: DPM Specialist Trainee - A diploma in a Technical Field – preferably mechanical, electronical or instrumentation, or the equivalent in industry experience. DPM Engineer Trainee - A minimum in an Engineering Bachelor Degree – preferably mechanical, electronical or Aeronautical. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Candidates must break-out from being a DPM trainee within 1-year after being in the Field. KEY COMPETENCIES: Works as an extra person in the DPM Team under direct supervision of the Lead Supervisor at the well site. Follows the requirements of the DPM training program in the time frame specified. Meets and maintains all minimum Safety Training Coefficient (STC) requirements as well as job related STC. Job Summary: The DPM Field Trainee assists and supports Lead and Second DPM Engineers and Specialists at the well site. He/She learns through hand on training while focusing on achieving the minimum level of proficiency. The trainee is responsible for delivering high service quality to clients. While working as a trainee, the employee becomes familiar with the oilfield business in general, DPM specific Equipment/services and the Schlumberger culture. RELATIONSHIPS: The DPM Field Trainee will work within a Team of between 2-8 personnel at the Wellsite. Trainees will work closely with other key personnel on location to better understand the hierarchy at a rigsite: Company Men, Directional Drillers, Data Techs, Drilling Foreman and Drillers. Responsibilities: Provides pre-job and post-job support to engineers and specialists at the well site and in the base. Assists with rig-up and rig-down at the well site. Assists in the hands-on preparation of Equipment at the well site. Assists Maintenance technicians in checking and preparing equipment at the base prior to load-out (i.e. unit, pumps, cokes, surface sensors, hand tools etc.). Follows and complies with all Schlumberger S Q, HSE and IT standards, wears all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Assists the lead hands in the preparation of wellsite reports.
