Job Description Position: Business Development Manager - Sub-Saharan Africa Location: London / South Africa - Location flexible Staff role ££Strong Salary and benefits please enquire KMC International Resource’s client, a global Consultancy with a developing EPC department are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with Sub-Saharan African experience. TITLE Business Development Manager - Sub-Saharan Africa REPORTS TO: Dual reporting to CIS CEO Oil and Gas BD director SUPERVISES: Business Development Assistants, Proposal Engineers KEY OBJECTIVES: (ii) To win contracts for the oil and gas business line, consulting and project work (iii) To deliver proposals to KPI; (iv) To manage the regional role in the Business Development of oil and gas business ensuring that the sector development is consistent with the Business Plans; (v) To develop and maintain excellent contacts with clients, potential clients and local offices (vi) To raise and maintain the profile of the business in oil and gas, providing effective communications and new business generation / ventures; (vii) To act as liaison to clients; (viii) To provide full handover of technical and commercial information at contact award to the project delivery teams; (ix) To report as required. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (i) Development and Management of client target list, client data and contract list register; (ii) Maintain effective communications with clients, stakeholder and other parties; (iii) To develop client relationships in India and overseas for oil and gas business line; (iv) Identify marketing development and input into the Company Business Plan; (v) Identify potential client opportunities on a worldwide basis; specifically in Sub-Saharan Africa (vi) To be the first point of contact between company and clients establishing understanding of client organisation; (vii) Responsible for monitoring journals and other sources for tenders and prequalification’s; (viii) Responsible for Project tenders preparation, methodology and CTR Lists and development of prequalification to support the Bid List; (ix) Assisting in the development of brochures, website and company profiles; (x) Responsible for handover of business development information to Business Unit on commencement of work; (xi) Responsible for preparation of quarterly and monthly look ahead plans; (xii) To report monthly and quarterly progress against KPI targets. TECHNICAL (i) To maintain personal discipline knowledge through CPD; (ii) Deliver guidance within oil and gas. COMPANY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (i) Assist with local Quality Authority Approvals; (ii) Working to policies and standards; Inputting into the Time sheet data base weekly.
