Job Description Spare Parts Coordinator Job Description: The Future Growth Project (FGP) is the next expansion in TCO’s Asset Development Strategy to create maximum value for TCO Partners and the Republic of Kazakhstan. FGP includes new wells, gathering system expansion, pressure boosting facility, oil stabilization and gas dehydration, sour gas reinjection, power generation and other utilities to increase production. Tengiz is a remote oilfield northeast of the Caspian Sea. Although adjacent to the Caspian Sea shoreline, direct marine access is prohibited by shallow water in the northeast Caspian. FGP Construction Strategy will maximize modularization and offsite prefabrication within the limitations governed by infrastructure and logistics to optimize overall execution. The Procurement Strategy will utilize TCO (FGP) direct procurement for major equipment and materials. The FGP Procurement & Materials Management Team operates in a fully integrated SCM team with Contracts, Logistics and Procurement. The FGP Project Materials Management Organization is responsible for management of TCO procured major equipment and materials throughout the entire supply chain ranging from highly complex, modularized major rotating equipment to bulk materials as well as overseeing the MM activities of major Contractors. EPCM is being executed by a Joint Venture consisting in international EPC firms and local Kazak EPC partner companies. The main EPCM Contractors office is located in Farnborough, Surrey, UK. The local KZ EPCM office will be located in Atyrau, KZ. The Construction Team will be located in Tengiz. The TCO project team will be colocated with the EPCM contractor in all operational locations. Key job responsibilities will include: 1. Participate in the development, implementation and execution of the designated FGP Sparing Tool and associated work processes. Overseeing the Sparing Tool contractors performance during the project and identify any issues to the Contract Owner. 2. Undertake required training to perform as a designated Sparing Tool SME and be able to train other TCO users. 3. Oversee EPCM Sparing team and Materials Management processing of the TCOFGP Spare Parts Interchangeability Record (SPIR) forms for procurement including duplication checking, rationalisation and allocation of TCO stock codes. 4. Oversee EPCM Sparing team execution of data cleansing activities including implementation of process for quality checking and TCO acceptance of cleansed lines. Will also oversee the final data transfer to Base Business E1 Item Master. 5. Track costs for spare parts against budget / cost allocation interfacing with Project Controls and Finance as required. 6. Coordinate with TCO SCM and Finance to develop necessary memo AFEs to cover transfer of depreciable standby equipment (DSE) to Base Business. Oversee the physical transfer of materials from FGP warehouse into the custody of Base Business in Tengiz. 7. Continuously review EPCM spare parts Procurement and expediting activities to ensure that deliveries will meet project required at site (RAS) dates. Oversee the EPCM Procurement and Engineering organisational capability to ensure sufficient resources are allocated for the timely development/evaluation of SPIRs and issue of purchase orders. 8. Support the process of determining the required stocking levels, including item reorder point and quantity, needed to meet project and operational requirements. 9. Manage opportunities for consolidation of SPIRs to reduce total supply costs. 10. Coordinate with Project Operations on the preservation process to ensure spare parts integrity is maintained while in storage. 11. Oversee Field and Fabricator warehousing management of spare parts, including Main Automation Contractor supply, to ensure OS & D resolution, and materials traceability. 12. Act as SCM interface with Chevron/TCO Category Mgmt., TCO Operations, Construction, Commissioning and Startup and other stakeholders involved in the Spare Parts Acquisition process. 13. Manage the return of surplus commissioning spare parts and work with Operations and Base Business on acceptance and recovery into TCO inventory.
