Job Description The successful Planning / Reporting Engineer will be responsible for key planning and reporting activities within the URF package in the ongoing development our clients offshore facilities: Planning and reporting activities for the development of offshore facilities so that they meet the Companys requirements; Assisting in maintaining the URF offshore integrated schedule which sits in the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Perth; Presenting clear and concise planning reports / documentation on a regular basis, this would include bar charts and networks, man-hours loading, S-curves and productivity reports; Prepare offshore daily progress reporting including week-ends. To provide planning, control and monitoring service to the URF project facilities team, covering all contractors and associated licensors/sub-contractors; Co-ordinating of planning effort provided by contractors and assist their planning engineers in developing Level 3 schedules; Liaising with the contractors and associated licensors/sub-contractors planning engineers; with regards to the status of agreed deliverables; Attending progress/Co-ordination meetings; Providing an independent assessment of individual contractors progress; Assisting / Supporting the Senior Planning Engineer in his activities. Job Requirements Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field with strong experience of planning in the Oil & Gas Industry; Broad understanding of facilities engineering and Project Control issues; Working as the Client in a Client / Contractor environment; Proficient with Primavera products including Primavera Enterprise v4-6 software. This should also include proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Power Point, Project and Word; Able to work in an integrated team environment; Highly developed cross cultural influencing skills for work with subcontract staff of varied nationalities and backgrounds; Overseas and offshore travel may be required.
