Job Description Brunel is actively searching for an experienced Commissioning Electrical Lead to join our client site team in Darwin. The main purpose of the role is to assist CCPP Package Manager to supervise the pre-commissioning and commissioning efforts to timely completion within approved budget while achieving the required quality, HSES and environment standards. Duties will include: Work with package engineering and construction teams for the review and approval of all Contractor deliverables, particularly for pre-commissioning and commissioning; Provide commissioning oversight during procedure, schedule & test report review; Support the review and swift resolution of site queries and technical deviation requests; Monitor all electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning works, ensuring that it is carried out in accordance with the relevant Company and statutory requirements; Drive a team of electricians (engineers, supervisors and craft) to ensure schedule target dates are met and work is executed as per project specifications and expectations; Attend daily meeting and specific technical meetings to represent the entire electrical team; Develop / follow schedule tasks of major electrical activities and propose mitigation measures when required; Coordinate and oversee major equipment commissioning and start-up activities until those equipment are ready for performance test. Attend / witness specific site testing and ensure proper technical reporting to line management; Develop an efficient reporting system to cover daily operation activities and keep tracking main events / issues with resolution follow-up, if required; Provide Contractor oversight and ensure project execution to HSSE standards and within quality, schedule and cost objectives. Job Requirements 10 years experience in Australian LNG construction projects; Electrical and HV commissioning experience; Client experience.
