Job Description The main deliverable for this role are to provide E&I construction expertise, to both the Company and Contractor teams, with the aim of ensuring the safest and most cost effective construction methods are used throughout the EPC execution phase, and to ensure adequate supervision and planning effort is provided and sufficient priority is given all parties in order to deliver key Project Milestones, while maintaining a safe, environmentally acceptable, quality outcome for the Project. Other deliverable will include: Demonstrable experience with overseeing Contractors in particular those involved in the construction of the onshore facilities; Ensure Contractor is safely monitoring and coordinating work activities, specifically the PTW and LO/TO procedures; Demonstrable ability to interpret Specifications and Standards, read P&IDs, Single Line Diagrams, and drawings; Ability to interpret Construction schedules, identify bottlenecks, and opportunities to streamline integrated schedules; Ensure Contractor/Sub-Contractor Compliance to E&I Specifications, Codes and/or Standards; Provide Oversight of Contractor and Sub-Contractor construction activities, and provide Guidance, and Support to construction and planning activities; Mentor JKC and its Sub-Contractor to ensure timely completion of E&I activities in line with Safety and Quality objectives of the Project; Provide written Construction daily diary, and weekly highlights; Attend necessary daily and weekly progress and coordination meetings; Monitoring, overseeing, coordinating and supporting of the E&I construction and pre-commissioning activities with focus on the completion of ITRs and the handover of subsystems to Commissioning. Job Requirements Minimum 15 year experience in Oil and Gas Construction Industry; Trade qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation, current NT endorsement required; Hazardous area qualification or experience; Demonstrable knowledge of applicable Australian Standards, and Codes of Practice; Demonstrable competencies in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) installation and inspection activities; Ensure compliance of E&I activities during Construction, testing and commissioning by Sub-Contractors; Able to interpret progress reports, cost reports and schedules in order to provide feedback to Supervision Management; Able to utilize project tools to analyze construction progress.
