SCAFFOLDING MANAGER - DIRECT HIRE CONTRACT – KAZAKHSTAN Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas contractor, is looking for a Scaffolding Manager to work on a project in Kazakhstan. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Diploma in Technical Education. Fluent in English. Russian and Kazakh languages would be preferred although not mandatory. Should have hands on experience in managing Scaffolding Projects. Should have previous Kazakhstan experience. Experience of Scaffolding in the Oil & Gas industry preferred. Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, public speaking, verbal and written communication skills and oriented towards providing excellent customer service. Must have leadership abilities to lead projects/ training programs; ability to lead and drive initiatives; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, and manage people. Computer knowledge in MS Office Software (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Critical and strategic thinking. Excellent interpersonal/relationship skills. Systems thinking and understanding. Strong analytical and synthesis skills. Confidence and flexibility. Ability to work under pressure. JOB SCOPE: Job Summary: Develop the Scaffolding Business for the Client & operate it as per international standards and in line with requirements of the Customer Duties Manage and lead the Scaffolding Business with direct reporting to the Director. Lead and develop a Team of skilled, motivated & highly experienced Scaffolders. Ensure Safe Working Conditions for the Team. Business Development & Marketing. Lead the company operations and ensures that all business objectives are delivered as per the set-up business plans. Strategic Planning, Marketing/ Business Development, analyzing Risks, securing new Business, successful execution within Schedule and Budget. Shall be responsible for P&L. Coordinating & monitoring the Procurement activities to ensure that procurement is done in compliance to the specifications acceptable to the Customer. Develop proper Systems and Procedures within the Organization in line with the requirements of ISO/OSHAS. Assistance in preparation of Technical and Commercial proposals for the Tenders related to training for international Clients. Propose Cost saving initiatives. Represent the company before Clients for Prequalification. Identify operational gaps and create performance measures to achieve business goals. Assure the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders. Present clear and frequent reporting through MIS reports, ensuring free flow of information and enabling to have a clear picture of the status of the operation at any time. Achieve predetermined targets in terms of revenues. Duration: 1 year with possible extensions Rotation: 90 days on / 15 days off Rate: US$7000-7500 per month worked net of any Kazakhstan tax.
